(no need to) Panic Sweater Pattern by Casapinka
The (no need to) Panic sweater was designed for new sweater knitters who have done shawls or other projects but are intimidated to make a sweater. There are optional short rows (no need to do them if you’re a beginner!)
There are long-sleeved instructions and two short sleeved versions.
Materials
5 (5, 6, 7, 7)8, 8, 9, 10 skeins of DK weight yarn (225 yards per skein. If there is more or less per skein, you will need to make appropriate adjustments.) Short sleeved version: Requires approximately one fewer skeins. Sizes 8 and 9 require two fewer skeins than the long-sleeved version.
US 6/4.0mm, 16”/40 cm and 24-40”/60-100 cm circular needles or size needed to attain gauge.
US 7/4.5mm needle also recommended for doing the texture in the bottom portion of the yoke as the gauge is slightly smaller than stockinette (details in pattern).
