OCT24: Folding Potholder (crochet)
Join us at Backstitches Yarn Shop for our Skill Builder Crochet class, where you’ll create a beautiful and functional potholder while expanding your crochet skills! This class is ideal for crocheters looking to refine their skills while making a thoughtful gift for the holidays. Potholders are not only practical but also a wonderful way to showcase your creativity! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to choose between two essential techniques: learning the Foundation Single Crochet for a seamless start or mastering Working in Both Sides of the Starting Chain for added versatility. We’ll also cover: Crocheting in a Continuous Spiral, Slip Stitch Cording and Basic Seaming.
Materials: 1 Skein Cascade Nifty Cotton (solid colors recommended for the class), Crochet Hook size G (4mm), Tapestry Needle, Scissors, Removable Stitch Markers. Pattern will be provided in class.
