To prepare you for next-level adventures in tunisian crochet, this shawl begins with something familiar - your old friend the simple stitch - and jazzes it up with beads and decorative edge shaping. Learn to gently transition your color changes before moving on to the tunisian knit stitch. The final leg of your journey combines something old and something new, teaching you how to read your stitches and become less dependent on counting stitches and keeping track of where you are on the written pattern. Don't worry, it is way easier than it sounds. And you'll have an experienced guide with you throughout the journey to keep you moving forward. 

Materials: 3 Skeins Fingering Weight Yarn in Coordinating Colors (sample uses Malabrigo Sock Yarn); Size H 5mm Tunisian Crochet Hook With 24" Cable, Size 6 Mill Hill Seed Beads 4-6 packs, Steel Crochet Hook for applying beads, removeable stitch markers, darning needle and scissors. Pattern will be provided in class.

Note: Sample photo is mini version of the full size shawl. Yarn can be solids, tonal, speckles or lightly variegated. All will work well. If you choose a heavy or high-contrast variegated for one of your colors, we suggest it be used as color B and your other 2 colors be tonal or solid.
