Jan20: Vintage Laced Edge Cowl

Do you love the look of asymmetric shawls but have a hard time figuring out how to wrap them, only to have them slip off throughout the day?  This project is the answer.  Like a shawl, this piece is worked flat but a quick (3") seam transforms it into a beautiful cowl that mimics the look and drape of an asymmetric shawl without all the fuss. The instructions are both written and charted.  This cowl would be a good skill-building project for newer knitters looking to venture into some lace.  Experienced knitters will find this project relaxing with very satisfying results.

Materials:1 skein of Dream In Color BLF Silk, US 5 (3.75mm) circular needle 24" (longer straight needles could also be used), Row Counter, Stitch Marker, Tapestry Needle, Safety Pin or Locking Stitch Markers and Pattern.
