Learn basic sock construction while knitting a keepsake Christmas stocking. This stocking is a great skill-building project for newer knitters and will also keep the experienced knitter engaged with the changing patterns. Choose a multi-colored version like the sample or work in just 2 colors using the contrast only on the toe, heel & cuff. The sample uses 164 grams total weight so if you choose the 2-color option you will need 2 skeins of main color & 1 skein of contrast color. 

Materials: Malabrigo Rios Yarn (at least 2 colors - 2 MC, 1 CC), Qty 2 of US Size 7 (4.5mm) 16” circular needle (or one 40", if you prefer magic loop), Cable Needle, Stitch Markers (1 end of round and a different color to mark the repeat sections), stitch holders and pattern. Pattern will be provided in class.
