Apr18: Smart Shrug
This is a light, yet warm oversized shrug. Worked at a very loose gauge in The Fibre Company’s Luma, the airy fabric carries a lot of drape and falls naturally about the shoulders. The deep lace trim, which is also found at the sleeves, is a straightforward 8-row pattern that is easily memorized for relaxing knitting. The shrug is a surprisingly fast project, constructed in an interesting and completely seamless way, which makes it perfect for advanced beginners looking to take an easy step into garment knitting.
