JAN18: Four Crocheted Cable Blocks
Crochet cables are a great way to add texture to your projects. Join us for this class to learn 4 different cabled patterns. These project blocks will build on the post stitches used in the recent crochet scarf class. But don’t worry, if you missed that class you can learn how to make these cables using the Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC) stitch. Since cables are created by crocheting stitches out of order, it can be easy to lose your place. Let us help you learn this technique to set you up for success. Put the 4 together and make a baby blanket carrier or add more blocks to make a larger throw.
Materials: 3 skeins Cascade Pacific yarn (if doing all blocks the same color), Size I crochet hook, yarn needle, stitch markers and pattern. Pattern will be provided in class.
Skill Level: Must know basic crochet stitches: chain, single crochet, double crochet
